Senator Dean Cameron understands agriculture is a pillar to Idaho's economy. He recognizes that the success of the businesses in the Magic Valley is dependent on the success of our agricultural economy. Dean has consistently promoted and defended Idaho's farmers.

Senator Cameron understands that water is the lifeblood of Idaho and supports "First in time first in right" or commonly referred to as the prior appropriation doctrine. He has defended the "Swan Falls agreement" and was one of the Senate sponsors reaffirming Idaho's control of Idaho's water.
